Ok, so i ws at walmart tonight digging thought the bargain DVD bin and i come across the double feature of "Scarecrow", which looks really bad, and since i've been meaning to check it out for awhile now i buy it.
Watching it tonight, pretty typical slasher fare with the outcast being picked on by all the kids in school and you know eventually he's gonna kill everyone somehow.
The kid lives with his drunken slut mom, and her "boyfriends" always pick on him. Something was familiar here, with the guy in the bad wig fondling the kids mom in front of him... Reminded me of Chicken Boy in Forbidden Zone...
So i keep watching and later when the Sheriff shows up he looks really familiar to me. Then i figure it out... It's Richard Elfman!!! At least, i thought it was, though he wasn't listed in the credits.
So i hit IMDB and find out that yes, it was him, AND he played the "boyfriend" in the bad wig too!
Then, as i'm checking out IMDB for mr Elfman i notice this:

They even got Danny reprising his role as Satan! They mentioned making a sequel on the DVD, but it seemed like they were just kidding, but this is very kick ass [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

Have you seen the DVD? The commentary on that is freaking hysterical [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
I think my film prof showed either a VHS or Laserdisc. DVDs had just hit and there wasn't a whole lot to choose from.
Still loved the movie though, especially Danny Elfman as Satan covering Cab Calloway.
Man, what a fucking awesome class that was.
